Salary: $118,800 - $196,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Develop narrative elements, engaging dialogues, and intriguing scenarios for Cyberpunk 2.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director, Lead Writer, and narrative teams to align with the project vision.
• Create supporting story documentation and maintain a consistent writing style and tone throughout the game.
• Mentor and support a team of writers to ensure the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to align narrative with gameplay mechanics and visuals.
• Review and revise narrative features to maintain a high standard of excellence.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Writer, specifically in RPGs or story-driven games.
• Strong mastery of interactive narrative design, dramatic structure, and screenwriting.
• Ability to create compelling characters and immersive storylines for adult audiences.
• Understanding of game design principles and how narrative integrates with mechanics.
• Must be based in Canada or specific US states (CA, CO, CT, FL, ID, IL, KY, MD, MA, MI, MN, NV, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, RI, TN, TX, WA, WI).
• Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
