What you will do

• Design and operate cloud-based infrastructure for the automated trading platform, ensuring reliable integration between execution environments and market data providers.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to create reproducible and auditable environments.
• Manage multiple execution environments, including distributed compute platforms like Databricks and containerized services.
• Integrate external market data feeds and execution APIs while designing secure authentication and secrets management.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and observability to define and operate SLAs and SLOs for platform availability.
• Lead incident response, escalation, and root cause analysis to resolve production trading disruptions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience operating cloud-based production systems, preferably on Azure.
• Strong expertise in cloud networking, including VNets, private connectivity, and segmented environments.
• Hands-on experience running distributed compute or data platforms (e.g., Databricks) in production.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, preferably with Terraform.
• Experience operating containerized services in production environments.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Experience in trading, financial systems, or energy markets.
• Familiarity with modern SRE practices such as error budgets and SLOs.
• Knowledge of credential rotation and audit controls.
