An established banking organisation growing its internal platform engineering team.

What you will do

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing platform solutions on Azure, with Databricks as a core component.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ideally in Azure DevOps.
• Containerise and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Tune performance of compute, storage, and data pipelines for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate needs into practical platform capabilities and contribute to the Azure roadmap.

Requirements

• 7+ years in a Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar infrastructure-focused role
• Strong hands-on Azure Cloud experience, including Azure Databricks
• Solid Infrastructure as Code skills, with Terraform preferred
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally Azure DevOps
• Working knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Collaborative, proactive mindset and good communication skills

Nice to have

• Python scripting experience
• Microsoft Azure certifications or equivalent
• Background working on large-scale or regulated platforms
