Location: Hybrid (Toronto, Canada). Must be eligible to work in Canada in a full-time capacity.

Salary: $75,000 – $115,000

What you will do

• Maintain and support large-scale Java applications, database architectures, and fault management systems.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance and high availability of IT applications.
• Implement proactive monitoring and alerting using APM tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
• Design and tune health rules and alerts for various applications to improve reliability.
• Identify and build automation for self-remediation needs to reduce manual intervention.
• Create performance analysis reports and dashboards for application teams.

Requirements

• Eligibility to work for hirify.global Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
• University degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software development or maintenance experience in Java, preferably within banking or payment domains.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Application Support focusing on monitoring dashboards and alert tuning (AppDynamics, Splunk, ELK).
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Websphere, REST APIs, and RDBMS (Oracle and/or DB2).
• Proficiency in scripting tools such as Python, BASH, PowerShell, or Ansible.
