Salary: EUR 4650 - 6900 per month (gross). Final compensation depends on experience and location and professional growth.

What you will do

• Lead implementation of PCI DSS controls across infrastructure and application layers.
• Design secure AWS architectures including VPC segmentation, IAM boundaries, and least privilege.
• Implement encryption standards for data at rest and in transit, and manage security tooling like WAF, GuardDuty, logging/monitoring.
• Own AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (SST/CDK/Pulumi/Terraform) and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Architect systems for high-volume financial transactions, improve reliability, fault tolerance, observability, and optimize cloud architecture for performance and cost.
• Work with auditors and stakeholders, act as Security Champion, define best practices, and mentor engineers on secure practices.

Requirements

• Experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Backend Infrastructure for 4+ years.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience in production environments.
• Proven experience working on or implementing PCI DSS, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).
• Deep understanding of IAM & least privilege, Network security (VPCs, subnets, isolation), Encryption & secrets management.
• Experience building or maintaining secure, scalable systems.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, or high-compliance environments.
• Familiarity with Node.js / TypeScript environments.
• Experience monitoring, logging, and incident response systems.
• Familiarity with building and maintaining NestJS services.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
