What you will do

• Lead a cross-functional team of 6-10 engineers, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on AI development.
• Design and deliver high-quality, scalable applications using Node.js, Python, and modern AI frameworks.
• Implement AI-powered features using RAG systems, prompt engineering, and agent orchestration.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to foster growth and maintain high coding standards.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business objectives into technical requirements.
• Define technical strategies and identify risks to ensure the long-term health and scalability of systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and shipping AI-powered features in production environments.
• Hands-on expertise with LLMs, RAG systems, prompt engineering, and AI-augmented workflows.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals (OOP) and experience with distributed systems and APIs.
• Proficiency in SQL for writing complex queries and analyzing data for actionable insights.
• Professional background as either a Backend or Frontend Engineer within a product company.
• Must be based in one of the supported countries listed in the location section.
