What you will do

• Define and lead AI solution design including model selection, prompting, orchestration, and fallback mechanisms
• Own AI evaluation frameworks with quality metrics and drive improvements through experimentation
• Implement safety guardrails mitigating risks like prompt injection, data leakage, and unsafe outputs
• Optimize AI systems for performance, latency, cost, reliability, and observability
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and set best practices for AI-enabled development
• Lead AI-augmented development directing tools architecturally and designing multi-agent patterns from first principles

Requirements

• 8+ years engineering experience, including 5+ years delivering ML/AI to production
• Strong Python proficiency and hands-on with ML/LLM tooling, orchestration, APIs
• Experience with AI evaluation frameworks and quality metrics
• Knowledge of AI safety risks and mitigations (hallucinations, prompt injection, data leakage)
• Optimization for performance, cost, scalability in production
• Strong TypeScript/Node fundamentals to evaluate AI-generated code
• Actively building with LLMs: shipping features or agentic workflows

• Experience in enterprise contexts balancing speed, quality, security
