Fullstack Engineer Intern

TL;DR

What you will do

• Collaborate with engineers to design, build, and ship scalable web applications
• Develop front-end and back-end features using React, Java, and Node.js
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization
• Apply Agile/Scrum practices, clean code principles, and CI/CD pipelines
• Improve documentation and team processes

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Bachelor (HBO/WO) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with React and at least one backend language/framework (Java/Node.js)
• Basic understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and REST APIs
• Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset
• Clear communication skills for team work
• Basic knowledge of object-oriented design, SOLID principles

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerization
• System design basics (layered architecture, dependency injection)
• TypeScript, state management, backend frameworks
• Prior internships, projects, or open-source contributions
