What you will do

• Develop and maintain Matlab-based software for automated factory calibration and test of coherent optical modems.
• Interface with optical test and measurement equipment.
• Collaborate with hardware and manufacturing engineers to define test procedures and gather requirements.
• Validate code and analyze test data to verify performance.
• Support deployment of software into manufacturing facilities.

Requirements

• Working towards Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, or related.
• Strong programming proficiency in Matlab or similar language.
• Understanding of software development principles, including Git and debugging.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience controlling hardware or test equipment programmatically.
• Familiarity with optical communication systems or electro-optic devices.
