What you will do

• Collaborate on product vision and multi-year roadmap for Workday Payroll aligned with People Technology and Finance objectives.
• Partner with People, Payroll, and Finance leadership to translate business needs into scalable requirements and specifications.
• Design and implement integrations prioritizing user experience and efficiency.
• Manage full product lifecycle from discovery to deployment and maintenance.
• Leverage reporting and analytics for performance monitoring and process optimization.
• Oversee vendor relationships and champion continuous improvement for reliability.

Requirements

• Located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for hybrid work
• Extensive Workday Payroll knowledge including GL, Paycodes, Taxes, and global HR processes.
• 7+ years in Workday Payroll configurations and integrations.
• Strong REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, JSON for automated logic.
• Advanced custom reports, dashboards, and analytical skills.
• Agile experience, stakeholder influence across global time zones, and problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Knowledge in Workday Extend, Time Tracking, or Absence modules.
• Workday Certifications in Payroll, Absence, or Time Tracking.
