Network Engineer (Autonomy Systems)

Network Engineer (Autonomy Systems): Manage and support wireless networks for hirify.global’s Malaga Demonstration & Learning Center autonomous machine operations with an accent on outdoor Wi-Fi and private cellular technologies. Focus on installing radios and antennas on heavy equipment, collaborating with global teams, and recommending solutions for customer operations.

Location: Onsite five days a week in Santa Rosalia Maqueda (Malaga), Spain. A valid work permit or EU-25/EFTA citizenship is required. Visa sponsorship is not available. Up to 10/20% business travel.

Salary: €73,020.00 base minimum pay.

What you will do

• Manage and support Wi-Fi and private cellular wireless technology at the Malaga facility.
• Install radios and antennas on and around heavy equipment.
• Collaborate with global hirify.global network engineers and commercial teams on pre-sales engagements.
• Analyze customer needs and recommend wireless solutions.
• Participate in design reviews, testing, and validation for compliance.
• Stay updated on cellular, Wi-Fi advancements, and connectivity standards.

Requirements

• Technical depth in outdoor wireless networks including private cellular and Wi-Fi.
• Experience in mining or construction technology preferred, plus RF planning understanding.
• Strong customer-facing skills for interactions with commercial teams and customers.
• Knowledge of industry trends, problem solving, software development life cycle, testing, AI, programming, and technical troubleshooting.
• Valid work permit or EU-25/EFTA citizenship required.
