What you will do

• Develop, build, and test full stack software components using Java and Gosu.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Lead Developers to implement system enhancements and fix defects.
• Review and analyze code across Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, and Angular.
• Utilize AWS Cloud native services and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute Proof of Concepts and apply AWS and Angular best practices.
• Perform performance engineering and monitoring for system stability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Basic understanding of AWS and cloud computing concepts.
• Must work onsite in the Jacksonville, FL office.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, or Angular.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Exposure to P&C insurance systems or platforms such as Guidewire.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
