What you will do

• Lead technical direction for MONOPOLY GO! Chat features and systems in React Native
• Turn ambiguous product goals into clear technical plans collaborating with product, design, backend, QA, and game teams
• Own quality, performance, release readiness, and platform integrations for production mobile app changes
• Mentor engineers, improve technical decision-making, and develop strong engineering practices
• Use generative AI tools like ChatGPT and Copilot while helping the team adopt AI-assisted workflows

Requirements

• 8+ years professional experience on mobile app, game, or complex product engineering teams
• 5+ years React Native on shipped mobile apps with deep TypeScript/JavaScript knowledge
• Experience creating native modules or platform integrations using Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift, or C++
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, concurrency, design patterns, API design, testing, debugging, and architecture
• Experience addressing mobile performance issues with React profiling and native tools like Xcode Instruments or Android Studio profilers
• Solid understanding of mobile networking, offline behavior, app lifecycle, push notifications, and platform limits
• Experience leading technical design, influencing architecture, mentoring, and aligning work across teams
• Ability to use AI tools effectively, supervise agent-driven development, and guide AI practices
• Excellent technical communication skills for explaining tradeoffs to all partners
