What you will do

• Lead technical improvements and developments for existing and future airplane programs, optimizing architectures and incorporating new technologies.
• Prepare, review, and approve engineering documentation for electrical system changes on Challenger and Global aircraft series.
• Propose and test novel approaches to optimize aircraft emissions, costs, weight, and performance.
• Conduct trade studies for new technology integration and lead technical investigations into electrical or lighting systems.
• Mentor junior team members and capture lessons learned within the Electrical Knowledge Domain.
• Manage technical interfaces and represent the electrical discipline with internal partners and external suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in aircraft electrical system integration or related fields.
• Deep knowledge of industry standards (RTCA/DO-160, SAE, MIL-STD) and airworthiness regulations (TCCA, FAA, EASA).
• Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills for structuring complex problems.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
