What you will do

  • Lead projects by designing systems and building proof of concepts for APIs and data automation.
  • Develop backend services and web application tools for the hirify.global platform.
  • Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and lead research into new technologies.
  • Refactor and document the codebase to improve overall quality and maintainability.
  • Implement complex financial data modeling, access control logic, and AI/ML prediction service integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including financial, legal, and editorial experts.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Senior IC Engineer leading systems design and infrastructure discussions.
  • Proficiency in Python and web frameworks, specifically FastAPI and Pydantic.
  • Strong expertise in delivering APIs and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL for data retrieval from relational databases (PostgreSQL).
  • Proven ability to design data flows from persistent storage to API endpoints.
  • Location: Must be able to work in a hybrid model based in London.

  • Experience with data modeling and pipeline orchestrators.
