What you will do

• Source-build with bankers, investors, traders, lawyers, and key players in credit markets
• Write quick news stories and investigative pieces covering market trends
• Collaborate with US- and UK-based journalists to confirm information and produce content
• Attend conferences, briefings, and events to build and maintain source relationships
• Develop market-moving insights and scoops in the Investment Grade market
• Receive training in interviewing, source-building, news writing, media law, and financial markets

Requirements

• Experience in developing, reporting, and writing stories for publication
• Interest in finance, economics, markets, and basic concepts/terminology
• Ability to work independently with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Desire to build strong sourcing relationships across finance professionals
• Concise and fluent English to make technical topics accessible and engaging
• Ambitions to carve out a coverage area and build reputation as a financial journalist

Nice to have

• Proven experience covering fixed income markets (IG, HY, Loans, CLOs, ABS)
