What you will do

• Edit and publish breaking news, analytical features, and long-form research across Asset-Based Finance, Distressed Debt, and Private Credit.
• Copy-edit and fact-check complex financial stories to ensure accuracy in numbers, names, and legal terminology.
• Own the end-to-end publication workflow from intake through to final sign-off under tight deadlines.
• Apply and enforce house style across all content to maintain consistency in tone and structure.
• Review and refine AI-assisted drafts to ensure they meet the same standards as human-authored content.
• Collaborate with senior editors to develop internal style guides and quality benchmarks.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in sub-editing or editorial production, ideally at a financial news organisation or specialist B2B publication.
• Strong working knowledge of leveraged finance, credit markets, and structured products (e.g., PIK toggle, cov-lite, waterfall).
• Ability to process high volumes of technically complex content under deadline pressure without sacrificing accuracy.
• Instinctive feel for grammatical precision and house style.
• Must be based in London to support a hybrid working model.
