Salary: $144,000 - $200,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead transformation of test automation and quality engineering strategy, partnering with founders and engineering leadership.
• Define vision and roadmap for testing infrastructure, from observability and standards to AI-first test generation and maintenance.
• Architect scalable testing frameworks and infrastructure spanning server, web, mobile, and desktop.
• Integrate AI/LLM technologies for test generation, flakiness management, coverage gaps, and analysis.
• Establish testing standards, quality metrics, gates in CI/CD, and unified observability dashboards.
• Mentor engineers on shift-left testing, testability design, and quality-first practices; drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or related with 8+ years in software testing, quality engineering, or test infrastructure.
• Proven track record defining and executing quality engineering strategy for full-stack systems.
• Strong programming in TypeScript, React, React Native, Go, PostgreSQL.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems, cloud test environments, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise in end-to-end testing (Playwright, Cypress, Detox), API/performance/security testing.
• Strong conviction in AI transforming testing; excellent communication and mentoring skills.

• Experience applying AI/ML to testing, open-source contributions.
• Knowledge of accessibility testing, inclusive design.
