Senior Test Engineer (Java, TypeScript)

TL;DR

Senior Test Engineer (Java, TypeScript): Designing and implementing test automation frameworks for business-critical applications with an accent on CI/CD integration and performance testing. Location: Must be located in Poland and have EU citizenship. Occasional business trips abroad and visits to the office in Katowice are required.

Salary: UOP 12,000–16,000 PLN gross/month; B2B 100–140 PLN net/h

What you will do

• Design and optimize test automation frameworks for business-critical applications.
• Develop and execute automated functional, regression, integration, and smoke tests.
• Perform load and performance testing using Apache JMeter and Azure Load Testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates.
• Define KPIs and metrics to monitor test coverage and product quality.
• Manage test data and provision containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• EU citizenship and current residence in Poland.
• Practical experience in designing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java and TypeScript for test automation.
• Experience with Apache JMeter and Azure Load Testing.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies for test environments.
• Fluent English (B2/C1) and German (B2/C1) proficiency.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of regression test strategies and structured test data management.
• Experience in operationalizing test strategies and plans.
• Practical experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to define and prepare test evaluations through metrics and KPIs.
