Technical Automation QA (Playwright/TypeScript): Designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks for web and API testing with an accent on AI-driven testing and Modular Composable Platforms (MCPs). Location: Remote in locations without company offices; Hybrid (2 days in-office) in locations with offices. Working hours typically between 09:00/10:00 and 18:00/19:00 CET or EET.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript for web and API testing.
• Define and evolve the test automation strategy, processes, and best practices.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) for fast feedback loops.
• Implement AI-assisted testing tools and MCP-based automation components.
• Provide technical guidance through mentoring and peer reviews to enhance team code quality.
• Continuously improve test performance, reliability, and reporting visibility.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in QA and automation, including 2+ years with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Proven experience in building test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and automation design principles.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and/or Python.
• Experience with REST API testing, SQL, and relational databases.
• Fluent English (written and verbal) is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-powered or model-based testing tools.
• Familiarity with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes (K8s).
• Knowledge of mobile automation frameworks like Appium.
• Understanding of MCP architecture.
• Experience in Agile or Kanban environments.
