TL;DR

Senior Product Marketing Manager (Pikmin Bloom): Lead regional marketing strategy and execution across APAC markets including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, and Southeast Asia with an accent on localized campaigns, partnerships, and player engagement. Focus on developing integrated ATL and digital promotions, analyzing performance metrics like DAU/WAU and ROI, and managing budgets to drive acquisition, retention, and revenue.

Location: Tokyo, Japan (hybrid, required in-office 3 days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). Travel domestically and internationally as needed.

What you will do

  • Lead product marketing strategy and execution for Pikmin Bloom across APAC markets.
  • Develop and execute localized marketing campaigns aligned with market needs and player behaviors.
  • Collaborate with local teams, agencies, partners, Product, Game Design, Comms, Creative, and PR on ATL campaigns, partnerships, digital promotions, and offline events.
  • Identify growth opportunities in user acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue using data-driven insights.
  • Track and analyze metrics including awareness, acquisition, DAU/WAU, and ROI; manage budgets and evaluate effectiveness.
  • Support scalable regional marketing frameworks and best practices.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in Japanese and English.
  • BA/BS or equivalent; 7+ years in product marketing, gaming, entertainment, or consumer tech.
  • Strong understanding of APAC market dynamics and consumer behavior.
  • Experience with integrated campaigns (ATL, partnerships, digital, offline), managing agencies/vendors.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, project management skills; cross-functional collaboration across time zones.
  • Passion for games, live-service products, player communities; ability to thrive in fast-paced hybrid environment.

Nice to have

  • Passion for Niantic products (Pokémon GO, Pikmin Bloom, etc.).
  • Experience with strict brand/legal guidelines, project tools like Asana, Google Workspace.
  • Proficiency in Chinese.
