Location: Worldwide, flexible work from one of our offices or remote. Relocation support to Mexico, Cyprus, Georgia, Serbia, Spain, Kazakhstan with full visa & permit support to the employee and family.

What you will do

• Create an innovative fintech service based on an existing AWS-based platform
• Manage Kubernetes clusters for efficient deployment and scaling of containerized applications
• Utilize Terraform to configure and maintain infrastructure as code, automating processes
• Implement and configure Istio service mesh to enhance visibility, security, and traffic management in microservices
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and automate repetitive tasks
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and reliability

Requirements

• B1 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a similar DevOps/SRE role
• Cloud infrastructure expertise, particularly with AWS or equivalent platforms
• Proficiency with modern container orchestration and infrastructure tools (Kubernetes, Terraform, Cloudflare, Istio, GitLab, ArgoCD, Ansible, Helm)
• Strong Linux fundamentals and troubleshooting capabilities
• Experience working with distributed systems and databases (Elasticsearch, Kafka, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Coding abilities in Shell/Bash plus at least one programming language such as Python, Go, or Java

Nice to have

• Experience architecting and implementing highly scalable, high-availability systems that perform under significant load
• Hands-on experience developing custom K8 operators to extend platform capabilities
