Field Service Engineer - Cargo Inspection System (CIS) Benelux

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on high-energy X-ray scanning systems.
• Conduct site audits, manage spare parts inventory, and drive system performance improvements.
• Assist with new system installations, factory and on-site commissioning.
• Provide on-call and remote technical support on a rotating basis.
• Contribute to service operations improvements, documentation, and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to EHS standards and company quality procedures.

Requirements

• Engineering education (e.g., MBO 4 level in electrical, mechanical, electronics) or relevant experience.
• Experience as Field Service Engineer in installation, maintenance, repair, with strong customer service.
• Skills in electrical/electromechanical troubleshooting, diagnostics, schematics reading.
• Knowledge of PLC systems, automation, sensors, actuators, radiation-safety principles.
• Basic networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switches, firewalls); Windows environments, diagnostic tools.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written); driving licence.
