Fab Mechanic - Assembly (1st & 2nd Shift Available)

Fab Mechanic - Assembly (Aerospace): Fabricate rigid and flexible metal tubing for hydraulic, fuel, pneumatic, waste, and exhaust systems by cutting, grinding, forming, de-burring, cleaning, swaging, and polishing. Focus on precise assembly preparations, operating equipment like swagers and crimpers, and performing visual and dimensional quality checks per specifications.

Location: Onsite in Laconia, NH, United States. 1st or 2nd shift available (2nd shift: Mon-Thu 3:15 PM-1:45 AM with $1.00 differential). Training provided.

What you will do

• Plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair rigid and flexible tube assemblies using hand tools and equipment.
• Prepare hoses for assembly by buffing, connecting fittings, and applying RTV.
• Set up and operate abrasive, squaring, deburring, sizing, swaging, and crimping equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, method sheets, and process sheets to manufacture tubes.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and quality tests on materials, components, and finished products.
• Clean workpieces, load/stock materials, and transport work in process.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear; lift up to 25 pounds; close vision and focus.
• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training or equivalent.
• Regularly and predictably at work and on time.
