What you will do

• Manage the Science & Technology (S&T) function within the Americas, overseeing goals for staff and senior-level scientists.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for CBRNe technologies and participate in design reviews for internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead the development, execution, and submission of RFI responses, white papers, and full proposals for government funding opportunities.
• Establish and maintain technical partnerships with industrial and academic institutions to support product roadmaps.
• Manage laboratory assets and facilities, including creating CAPEX requests for new equipment to support NPI projects.
• Lead Intellectual Property (IP) ownership and the submission of disclosures for S&T team developments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years in a relevant scientific research & development environment.
• At least 5 years in a people and/or program leadership role.
• Advanced degree in Physical Sciences (Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc.) required; Ph.D. preferred.
• Technical expertise in CBRNe technologies (ion mobility spectrometry, mass spectrometry, radiation detection, gas-phase sample collection).
• Knowledge of standard data analysis processes, Product Lifecycle Process (PLP) principles, and health and safety standards.
• Must be based in the United States.
