Salary: $140,000 – $200,000

What you will do

• Lead enterprise architecture planning to ensure strategic alignment between Navy LIFT’s business goals, technology roadmap, and mission requirements.
• Evaluate existing systems to identify modernization and interoperability opportunities and define technical strategies for efficiency.
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture standards, frameworks, and policies to guide solution design across the program.
• Provide expert technical consultation and risk management recommendations to senior Navy leadership.
• Conduct research and test and evaluation (T&E) of emerging solutions to identify innovative capabilities for Naval operations.
• Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and portfolio management to ensure end-to-end architectural consistency.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher.
• Expertise in cloud computing, networking, Zero Trust architectures, and data management.
• Proficiency in DevSecOps automation, CI/CD pipeline integration, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation, Security+, Agile Certified Practitioner, and Cloud Fundamentals (Azure, AWS, or Google).

Nice to have

• Experience supporting the Department of the Navy or other Department of Defense programs.
• Working knowledge of DoDAF and MBSE tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and digital engineering environments.
• Advanced certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or CISSP.
