TL;DR

Senior Software Architect (Cybersecurity): Incubating the next generation of cybersecurity products from scratch with an accent on rapid prototyping and "Zero to One" development. Focus on designing scalable architectural foundations, solving complex early-stage technical problems, and turning threat research into functional prototypes.

Location: Remote (US)

Compensation: $230,000 - $260,000 base plus bonus and equity

What you will do

  • Lead the "Zero to One" phase for new cybersecurity offerings, moving from concept to high-fidelity prototype.
  • Build core libraries and initial services for new products, primarily using Go and Ruby.
  • Design flexible, scalable architectures for experimental products to eventually integrate into the broader platform.
  • Solve the hardest early-stage problems to prove viability of new detection methods and data ingestion styles.
  • Partner with Researchers and Product teams to translate complex adversarial behaviors into automated capabilities.
  • Act as a technical proxy for the CTO when evaluating "build vs. buy" decisions for new product lines.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience taking technical products from initial concept to launch.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages, with a strong preference for Go and Ruby.
  • Deep architectural understanding of the 'sensor-to-cloud' journey, from endpoint telemetry to backend intelligence.
  • Ability to design systems that can eventually handle millions of events per second.
  • Must be based in the United States.
