Director of Global Data Strategy - GRC (Fintech): Architect global data footprint for Business Verification (KYB), Identity (KYC), Fraud Prevention, and Risk Screening with an accent on country data roadmaps, sourcing local registries and risk providers. Focus on developing global risk taxonomy, technical integration strategies, and data governance compliant with privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA.

Location: Remote (US only), required to travel to Orlando, Florida at least twice per year for Town Halls, team collaboration, and orientation.

What you will do

• Define mandatory and nice-to-have data requirements for each new jurisdiction to meet local KYB/KYC regulatory standards.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage local business registries, credit bureaus, and risk data suppliers.
• Develop global risk taxonomy for Sanctions, Watchlists, PEPs, and Adverse Media.
• Partner with Engineering and Product on scalable technical integration of data sources.
• Ensure compliance with global privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and internal data residency requirements.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in Fintech, Neobanking, or Data Provider industries.
• Deep domain expertise in global KYB/KYC/AML landscape (e.g., open registries vs. manual agents).
• Technical literacy to articulate requirements to engineers.
• Proven track record negotiating high-value data contracts with global suppliers.
• Expertise in AML/CTF regulations varying by region (EU, LATAM, APAC).
