Accounting Manager (Finance)

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day leadership and operational support to accounting professionals across GL, cash application, and payments.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, journal entries, and payment runs.
• Oversee period-end close activities and support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Treasury, AP, AR, and Tax to ensure consistent data flow.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members through performance management and knowledge building.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting roles.
• 2+ years of experience in people coordination or first-line leadership preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Must be based in or available to visit the office in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Nice to have

• SAP knowledge.
• Prior experience in a corporate or shared services environment.
