TL;DR

Intern, Technical Support Engineering: Provide first-response technical support for hardware, software, and media systems in the entertainment industry with an accent on help desk operations, installation, and troubleshooting. Focus on managing support tickets, collaborating with IT teams, and documenting processes for operational efficiency.

Location: Must work onsite in Culver City, CA – this is not a remote position. Must have reliable transportation and be able to start mid-May 2026.

Compensation: $19/hr

hirify.global provides technology solutions for Hollywood studios, handling subtitling, dubbing, disc authoring, and digital distribution to platforms like iTunes, Netflix, and Amazon.

What you will do

  • Monitor and manage inbound technical support requests, calls, and tickets for all employees.
  • Handle support issues from start to resolution, escalating only when necessary.
  • Collaborate with IT and technology teams to ensure consistent support methods across sites.
  • Support onboarding, provisioning, and tech training for new hires.
  • Install and support desktop hardware, software, multiple OS builds (Mac, iOS, Windows), servers, networks, and A/V media systems.
  • Create documentation of processes using tools like Zendesk and Confluence.

Requirements

  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or related field (transcripts required).
  • Commit to 12 weeks full-time, Monday–Friday 10AM–7PM PST, onsite in Culver City, CA starting mid-May 2026 with reliable transportation.
  • Working knowledge of Mac OS, iOS, Windows; familiarity with Linux desktop, remote desktop (Teradici, RDP), ticket tracking, and diagnostic tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Zoom, Google Chat, MS Teams.
  • Ability to diagnose/repair hardware components and lift 50+ lbs.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
