What you will do

• Set strategic direction, planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the survey division to align with company goals.
• Lead business development efforts in the North Dakota market, identifying new clients and pursuing strategic opportunities.
• Manage multi-project delivery while ensuring high standards of quality, risk management, and safety compliance.
• Develop and mentor staff through hiring and established performance management programs.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with agencies, councils, and community partners.
• Represent the company in municipal, regional, and state industry forums.

Requirements

• 12+ years of surveying experience with strong technical depth.
• Proven ability to develop and sustain revenue-generating client relationships in the North Dakota surveying market.
• North Dakota Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred.
• Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Ability to work on active construction sites and travel throughout North Dakota.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass criminal background and driving record reviews.
