What you will do

• Set the strategic direction for the public works division, including planning, budgeting, and performance tracking.
• Lead business development efforts to identify new clients and pursue strategic opportunities in the ND market.
• Oversee and mentor Project Managers, Engineers, Surveyors, and support staff.
• Manage division-level quality, risk management, and safety compliance.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with municipal agencies, councils, and community partners.
• Represent the company in regional and state industry forums.

Requirements

• North Dakota PE (Professional Engineer) license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 12+ years of experience with a strong technical background in public works, specifically water, sewer, and land development.
• Proven ability to develop and sustain revenue-generating client relationships in the North Dakota market.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel throughout North Dakota and potentially surrounding states.
