What you will do

• Manage and develop the Accounts Payable team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Oversee the end-to-end AP process encompassing invoice intake, coding, approvals, and payment processing.
• Ensure strict compliance with GAAP and company policies, including oversight of 1099 reporting.
• Optimize AP workflows and automation tools to improve operational efficiency and mitigate risk.
• Partner cross-functionally to streamline procurement-to-pay processes.
• Manage AP accruals, provide reporting, and support month-end close activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounts payable experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in digital healthcare.
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Exposure to system implementations or AP automation initiatives.
• Experience managing multi-state or multi-currency payables.
