Simulator Technician

TL;DR

Simulator Technician (Flight Simulators): Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on AW139 training devices with an accent on compliance, safety, and system reliability. Focus on executing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring maximum successful training events for end users.

Location: On-site 5 days a week at Bankstown, NSW, Australia. Must be an Australian Citizen able to obtain/maintain Defence Security Clearance.

What you will do

• Carry out all preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on training devices as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
• Ensure maintenance meets internal and external compliance requirements.
• Work on world-leading flight simulator technology.
• Adhere to hirify.global’s Environment, Health and Safety standards.

Requirements

• Australian Citizen able to obtain/maintain Defence Security Clearance.
• Ability to work 5 days a week on-site at Bankstown.
• Technician and/or mechanical trade skill (electrician, electronic tech, or IT professional desired).
• Sound IT knowledge and ability to learn systems quickly.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Avionics technician certification, experience or knowledge.
• Aviation or Defence industry experience.
• Ability to assist at other sites within NSW and interstate.
