What you will do

• Author functional specifications for high-power and high-density Ethernet switches.
• Execute schematic capture and collaborate with eCAD teams on PCB layout and footprints.
• Run signal integrity simulations on both power and datapath signals.
• Specify PCB stackup and fabrication details and manage relationships with PCB vendors.
• Lead lab bring-up, debug prototypes, and drive complex system debug between software, hardware, and test teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and train contract manufacturers for high-yield test and manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer) or above.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in hardware engineering.
• Legal entitlement to work in Australia (Citizenship, PR, or valid work permit).
• Experience designing 20+ layer boards with 50G+ signals and advanced technologies (sequential lamination, HDI).
• Proficiency in multi-phase DC/DC design for high current and high transient loads.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (DDR, PCIe) and FPGA design using Verilog or VHDL.
