What you will do

• Conduct product-level and site-specific risk assessments to ensure safety compliance.
• Develop Safety Requirements Specifications (SRS) and verification documentation, including performance level calculations per AS/NZS 4024.1503.
• Perform safety-in-design and compliance audits for projects delivered within Asia.
• Lead technical design reviews and oversee RCM compliance testing activities.
• Deliver safety-in-design training to controls engineers, mechanical engineers, and estimating teams.
• Support site-level safety validation and commissioning processes in collaboration with third parties.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a similar functional safety engineering role.
• Formal certification in functional safety engineering.
• Deep understanding of machinery safety standards, specifically AS4024.
• Proven competence in developing safety documentation, auditing engineering designs, and site safety validation.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and deliver professional training to engineering teams.
