What you will do

• Review website content and digital deliverables for Section 508 accessibility compliance.
• Remediate or support remediation of PDFs, slide decks, graphics, and other materials.
• Assess reading order, tagging, alt text, captions, headings, and other accessibility elements.
• Coordinate with content, design, and technical teams to resolve issues before release.
• Track remediation status and support accessibility documentation.
• Advise project staff on accessible content practices and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accessibility, digital communications, instructional design, IT, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience supporting Section 508 compliance for digital products.
• Experience remediating PDFs, presentations, forms, and other communications materials.
• Working knowledge of WCAG, accessible document practices, and captioning requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting federal accessibility programs.
• Familiarity with accessibility review tools and remediation workflows.
• Experience with HHS, CDC, or public health content environments.
