What you will do

• Develop sophisticated software with minimum supervision, focusing on high-quality APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Perform advanced refactoring, fix complex bugs, and produce quality API documentation.
• Contribute to system design, code reviews, and technical presentations.
• Onboard and mentor junior developers, lead small to moderate projects.
• Partner with product and analytics teams to drive requirements and ensure SDLC processes including agile practices.
• Identify risks, improvements, and alternative solutions while empathizing with end-users.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience, preferably with project lead experience; Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong Python experience in distributed web apps (microservices, APIs, DBs, queues, caches, containers).
• AWS services (or equivalent cloud), OS X/Linux environments, Git, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum.
• JSON/REST APIs, 3rd party integrations, large-scale web applications, OWASP understanding.

• Experience with data processing/engineering, AI/ML services integration.
