What you will do

• Design, prototype, and implement features and tools for the Vault ecosystem, ensuring high stability and usability.
• Collaborate with Product Design and Product Management partners to build and ship medium-sized features.
• Debug and resolve medium-level bugs in products and solutions to maintain quality.
• Review technical contributions for quality and consistency, recommending architectural changes.
• Participate in on-call rotations, pairing, and team planning to support product needs.
• Engage in diagnosis and workflow improvements based on product requirements.

Requirements

• Professional experience as an engineer working with Golang.
• Experience with Linux, including troubleshooting and bash scripting.
• Experience with relational/NoSQL databases and distributed systems (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Must be able to work without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
• Cloud-native mindset and a solid understanding of DevOps principles.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges using a data-driven approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Experience using HashiCorp products such as Terraform, Packer, Waypoint, Nomad, Vault, Boundary, or Consul.
• Experience mentoring team members to enhance problem-solving and planning skills.
