Backend Engineer

What you will do

• Develop and enhance the data collection platform for high-scale operations.
• Solve diverse complex problems in distributed systems.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Software Engineers to deliver customer value.
• Analyze and improve performance, scalability, and stability of products and environments.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to handle growing scale.
• Participate in on-call rotation and system monitoring.

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Solid knowledge of Kafka, SQS, K8S, Postgres, and event-driven systems.
• Experience with large-scale SaaS production services and databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Proficiency in at least one language such as Java, Go, or Clojure.
• Proficiency with SQL, Athena, or BigQuery.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience in functional programming.
• Hands-on experience with Clojure.
