What you will do

• Collaborate with engineering leaders and contract professionals to define application requirements and development plans.
• Design and review architecture diagrams for Kafka-based integrated solutions using Confluent Cloud and Confluent Platform.
• Create scalable architectures integrating disparate systems across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
• Lead deployments and automate provisioning and maintenance tasks using Terraform, Chef, Ansible, and Jenkins.
• Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks using Splunk, Datadog, or Prometheus.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to remove roadblocks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred).
• 12+ years of experience in Enterprise Technology with extensive development in .NET and AWS Cloud.
• 10+ years of relevant IT experience within financial, investment, or fintech institutions.
• 5+ years of experience creating logical/physical data models and defining database schemas (SQL, NoSQL, Graph).
• Strong proficiency in Angular, React, Java, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Agile development and DevOps tools including GitLab, Jenkins, and JFrog.
