American commercial electric vehicle (EV) company developing a first-of-its-kind platform for medium-duty EVs and Hybrids.

What you will do

  • Identify and manage suppliers meeting Approved Supplier Criteria in collaboration with Engineering and Quality.
  • Design and execute strategic sourcing visions for assigned commodities including CapEx, Facilities, and Software.
  • Oversee the RFI/RFQ/RFP process and develop procurement strategies, policies, and systems.
  • Negotiate favorable contracts regarding parts pricing, tooling costs, and Engineering Services (NRE/EDT).
  • Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, and Strategy teams on product cost and manufacturing technology.
  • Analyze total direct material spend to identify improvement opportunities and present initiatives to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical, supply chain, or finance discipline (Masters or MBA preferred).
  • 7-10+ years of experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain management, including strategic sourcing and contract negotiation.
  • Strong knowledge of pricing models, industry trends, and regulations.
  • Experience with NetSuite/Oracle or other ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Must be based in or able to work onsite in Garden Grove, CA.
