Location: Onsite in Torrance, CA. Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence due to ITAR/EAR restrictions.

Salary: $110k - $137k, plus generous annual equity package and potential bonuses.

What you will do

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies for materials, electronics, and composites used in UAV production.
• Manage the full procurement cycle from RFQ to PO issuance, delivery tracking, and invoice resolution.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers based on cost, quality, and compliance standards (AS9100, ITAR, DFARS).
• Negotiate pricing and long-term supply agreements to achieve cost savings and strategic alignment.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to manage BOM alignment and engineering change orders (ECOs).
• Monitor market trends and material lead times to proactively adjust sourcing plans and mitigate risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive purchasing or sourcing experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence (required for ITAR/EAR export-restricted work).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Epicor, or NetSuite.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes for electronics, composites, and machined parts.
• Familiarity with AS9100, ITAR, and DFARS supplier quality requirements.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement principles.
• APICS/CPIM certification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
