What you will do

• Lead complex and ambiguous research studies to shape organizational product vision.
• Drive user-centered decision-making at the executive level, influencing Directors and VPs.
• Partner cross-functionally with product, design, engineering, and data science to align insights with business priorities.
• Integrate qualitative and quantitative data sources to build evidence-based user experience perspectives.
• Define and establish organizational standards for the responsible and ethical use of AI in research.
• Mentor staff researchers and elevate the overall methodological bar of the research practice.

Requirements

• 8+ years of applied research experience, including strategic leadership in complex organizations.
• 6+ years of experience specifically within the tech or SaaS industry.
• Deep expertise in qualitative methods (interviews, usability studies) and quantitative approaches (survey design, data analysis).
• Advanced knowledge of AI tools used in research workflows and the ability to critically evaluate their outputs.
• Proven ability to set research priorities at the program level and manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Strong collaborative and communication skills to drive alignment through evidence-based insights.
