What you will do

• Design and operationalize agentic AI systems featuring multi-step workflows and human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Architect RAG pipelines, evaluation harnesses, orchestration layers, and prompt engineering strategies.
• Set technical standards through code reviews, design documentation, and reference implementations.
• Hire, mentor, and develop an agile team of AI engineers.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and vendors like Microsoft and Anthropic.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing business systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and Workato.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 10+ years in software engineering with current, deep technical fluency and active production coding.
• 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
• Expertise in cloud-native AI on Microsoft Azure (Azure AI Services, OpenAI, Entra ID).
• Daily use of AI-assisted developer tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor.
• Proven track record of translating ambiguous business problems into shipped AI solutions.

Nice to have

• Background in data integration, data quality, or master data management.
• Experience with enterprise ecosystems like ServiceNow, NetSuite, or Salesforce.
• Knowledge of AI regulatory frameworks such as EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, or ISO 42001.
