What you will do

• Architect and implement low-level engine systems across Scene Graph, networking, analytics, and language toolchain.
• Design stable, forward-thinking APIs exposing engine capabilities through Verse for internal and external developers.
• Collaborate with core engine and gameplay teams to build solutions meeting diverse needs.
• Shape and unlock Verse capabilities within Unreal Engine.
• Drive technical excellence across platforms through debugging, optimization, and reliability.

Requirements

• Strong C++ skills to architect game systems and associated tools.
• Experience creating and maintaining APIs with strong backward compatibility.
• Strong problem-solving skills to find solutions beyond established approaches.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and collaborating to define deliverables.
• Experience with multiple programming languages, leveraging their strengths.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience writing performant code across multiple hardware platforms including game consoles.
