What you will do

• Conduct structured analysis of denial and rejection data to identify root causes and payer patterns.
• Build and maintain operational dashboards in Looker to provide real-time visibility into AR trends and payer performance.
• Translate billing logic and denial patterns into maintainable SOPs and operational workflow guides.
• Partner with clinical teams to identify and fix upstream documentation or workflow gaps.
• Execute hands-on claim corrections, resubmissions, and payer follow-ups.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on RCM operations experience with focus on denial management and rejection analysis.
• Proficiency with BI tools (Looker preferred) and advanced Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation.
• In-depth knowledge of Medicaid MCO and commercial payers, specifically BCBS.
• Strong ability to trace denial patterns to root workflow or documentation failures.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (E-Verify participant).

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL for querying claim or eligibility data.
• Background in behavioral health, telehealth, or school-based care billing.
• Experience building SOPs in a scaling startup environment.
• Familiarity with Apero or similar RCM and practice management platforms.
