Sr. Palo Alto Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Fully remote anywhere in the continental U.S. U.S. Citizenship required. This position also requires a CJIS Background Check and Fingerprinting as part of the onboarding process.

What you will do

• Solo deliver or lead complex projects and requests as the technical point.
• Act as escalation point for junior engineers and lead capacity planning and hardware recommendations.
• Lead deployments, connector configurations, custom rule and workflow development, and third-party integrations.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing, bug fixes, knowledge transfer, and post-production support.
• Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, certifications, and professional associations.
• Complete administrative tasks and contribute to hirify.global communities with runbooks and documentation.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required with CJIS Background Check and Fingerprinting.
• Current PCNSE certification.
• Hands-on experience implementing Palo Alto, including Prisma Access, Prisma Cloud, and optionally Prisma Cortex.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and optionally GCP.
• Minimum 4 years hands-on with Palo Alto and 6 years professional Information Security experience.
• Experience in customer-facing/consulting capacity and leading junior colleagues.
