What you will do

• Manage platform operations, monitoring, incident management, and release/deployment coordination.
• Execute cloud transition, lift-and-shift activities, and create comprehensive configuration documentation.
• Maintain A&A/FedRAMP artifacts, including SSP, SAR, and POA&M.
• Coordinate vulnerability management, patching, and the tracking of security findings for remediation.
• Support annual security assessments, penetration testing coordination, and continuous monitoring.
• Ensure strict compliance with HHS/OASH security, privacy, encryption, and records-management requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Cloud Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cloud operations, platform engineering, or federal system support.
• Proven experience with security documentation and assessment activities for federal systems.
• Deep familiarity with NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, and ATO/A&A practices.
• Hands-on experience working within AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
• Position is contingent upon successful contract award to hirify.global.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting HHS or other federal civilian agency systems.
• Experience with Drupal platform hosting or web application support in cloud environments.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or AWS/Azure security certifications.
