What you will do

• Develop and manage the KION Cyber Defense Center and its operations.
• Handle cyber security incidents, including client triage and forensic analyses of attacks.
• Automate security incident responses using SOAR products and playbook development.
• Design and integrate security detection methods for cloud environments including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Analyze security logs to differentiate between malicious and benign activity.
• Implement information security, risk management, and privacy practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or a related field, preferably with a focus on cyber security.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in security operations or a cyber defense center.
• Proficient programming skills, particularly in Python.
• Deep knowledge of firewalls, EDR, IDS/IPS, SOAR, detection engineering, forensics, and Threat Hunting.
• Understanding of security classification frameworks like MITRE or the cyber-attack kill chain.
• Must be based in or able to work in Guadalupe, Mexico (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, GIAC (GSEC, GEVA, GPEN), or Splunk/ELK engineer/architect.
